Knowledge base restructure and vehicle data integration

New features

Knowledge base

  • The knowledge base has been re-structured so that help articles/categories only display for the relevant tier(s) depending on the content.
  • Additional content has been provided and some existing content re-worded to better match latest features.

Vehicles

  • Spanish VRN lookups have now been integrated via DriveRight.
    • Note: Contact support to enable setup if required.
  • Vehicle MOT history lookup has been updated to use the new DVLA data.

🔧 Improvements

Check-in report

  • The selected customers' contact preferences now display on the SMS modal prior to sending out a message.
  • SMS internal structure has been re-worked in preparation for the upcoming mass SMS tool.

System

  • A fullscreen button has been added to the header of all admin areas.
  • Improved UI for location management in the Silkmoth admin area.
  • Improved the user experience for setting up reminder templates.
  • Additional user management controls for Silkmoth admins.
  • Updated the knowledge base management tool to use TinyMCE.

🐞 Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with certain vehicles inadvertently displaying when selecting the "via online service" filter option.
  • Fixed an issue with certain invoices not displaying on the customer edit page when the linked job sheet was beyond the most recent 10 for said customer.
  • Removed/updated any vulnerable packages used in the system.
